Delivery Mode: Instructor-led Classroom
Prerequisites: None
Course Length: 1 day
Description: This one-day overview course provides an introductory understanding of the art and science of requirements development and management. The course uses the EBG Requirements Roadmap* as a guide to select, build, verify, and validate requirements models. You'll learn how the models interconnect and provide a rich set of requirements representations.

Navigating with the Roadmap and using an integrated case study, you'll gain hands-on experience working in a small team to create seven requirements models. You'll understand the value of using these models for new development, enhancements to existing software or selection of COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) software.

In this carefully designed and executed learning environment you'll actively learn through lecture, examples, exercises, and review sessions.

This course is endorsed by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) and aligns with the IIBA's Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®) applicable tasks and techniques. You'll earn 7 PDs (Professional Development hours) for initial certification or 7 CDUs (Continuing Development Units) by attending this course.

*The EBG Requirements Roadmap is a set of interrelated models (behavioral, structural, dynamic, and control) at varying levels of detail.

Who Should Attend: This course is valuable for people who need to understand requirements or who need to manage and lead people who elicit and specify requirements. It is designed to benefit project managers and leaders, business managers, product developers, and product owners.
Objectives:
