Comprehensive (Blended Classroom)

Roadmap to Success: Comprehensive covers two core areas of study, delivered consecutively, through two training modes:
The Comprehensive course begins with “Foundation for Requirements Development and Management Training” – a curriculum for essential requirements development and management skills in our most flexible format, Self-paced eLearning.
The Comprehensive course concludes with “Analysis Modeling”– instructor-led classroom training that teaches you how to produce quality requirements analysis models using the EBG Requirements Roadmap.

EBG calls this one-two approach “blended classroom” training. It gives you the advantage of building, at your own pace, an essential knowledge of requirements needed to define business projects and software products. Then, in a classroom setting, you apply that foundation knowledge base to analyze, build and evaluate requirements analysis models.

Part 1, Foundation for Requirements Development and Management, is a series of eight self-paced courses that build the foundation you need to successfully develop and manage requirements for business projects and software products. You will learn:

The fundamentals for using the EBG Requirements Roadmap to analyze

equirements

Steps to adapt and improve your requirements practices to your project

Part 2, Analysis Modeling, is an instructor-led classroom setting using small groups to create requirements analysis models and to simulate requirements workshops. The emphasis is on achieving high-quality requirements that are correct, clear, consistent, complete and relevant. You will learn to:

Produce quality requirements analysis models that save product development time and money.

Select the appropriate model to employ based on the problem domain

Calibrate the precision of your models to conduct proper analysis

Employ practical techniques for specifying interface requirements

Transform analysis models to specifications (and how to organize those specifications)

Uncover how models interconnect to weave a rich set of requirements representations

Deliver requirements quickly without compromising quality

This training directly references the applicable knowledge areas within the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)’s Business Analysis Body of Knowledge™ (BABOK™) and is IIBA/EEP approved.

Part 1, Foundation for Requirements Development and Management Training, is delivered through EBG’s convenient self-paced eLearning. You train on your terms. Part 2, Analysis Modeling, is a two-day, instructor-led classroom training experience. Material is delivered in person by EBG’s world-class instructors. It utilizes an integrated case study to give participants hands-on experience. You will work in small groups with peers to create requirements models and simulate requirements workshops.
